LIVE NATION’S TIDES CELEBRATES ITS GRAND OPENING

The first purpose-built live entertainment hotspot in Hong Kong opens to acclaim with

showcase featuring performances by The Hertz, Beanies, Novel Fergus and Le Shing

HONG KONG – TIDES, Hong Kong’s first purpose-built mid-sized music venue by Live Nation, held its official launch and grand opening ceremony on 14 October. Ushering in a dynamic new era of live performances and events in Hong Kong, the grand opening introduced TIDES as a new cultural beacon for the city’s entertainment scene with a lineup of eclectic local talents, including The Hertz, Beanies, Novel Fergus and Le Shing.

Inspired by waves, voyages, and journeys, the unique design theme of TIDES pays homage to the sea and the area’s maritime history. Located on 1/F and U1/F of The Whampoa’s ship-shaped complex in Kowloon, the 1,500 capacity venue is the new mid-sized crown jewel for Hong Kong’s live acts, designed entirely in-house by Live Nation to serve as a purpose-built platform catering to the needs of “the next wave” of emerging stars.

The first venue of its kind in Hong Kong and Asia at large, TIDES fills a clear gap in the market by providing state-of-the-art plug-and-play facilities for artists in a unique entertainment experience that fosters deeper connections between the act on stage and the audience.

Future Programming Highlights at TIDES

On 18 October, Japanese rock band Novelbright make their Hong Kong debut, while The Hertz perform special Live In 正常病院 2025 shows on 31 October – 1 November – their first shows after a 2.5 years hiatus. On 13 November, multi-platinum global streaming sensation bbno$ comes to TIDES on the third leg of his It’s pronounced baby no money world tour to spread endless positivity and party vibes.
