MCM LAUNCHES COSMIC STAR EAU DE PARFUM

MCM introduces Cosmic Star Eau de Parfum, a new addition to its Backpack Fragrance Collection, inspired by motion and modern nomadism.

Designed for women who move beyond convention, the scent channels a spirit of freedom and forward momentum — capturing the energy of a modern nomad in constant evolution. Balancing spontaneity with refinement, Cosmic Star reveals a multidimensional fragrance experience that feels both instinctive and composed.

Like a gravitational force, it draws the wearer into its orbit, radiating an aura that is at once ethereal and empowering. The composition unfolds as a gourmand floral, blending freshness with a warm, addictive depth. Juicy pear, muguet and coconut water open the fragrance with a luminous clarity, leading into a heart of white iris, freesia and gardenia, softened by delicate caramel notes. The base settles into a creamy, lingering warmth of vanilla, white chocolate accord, white musks and oakmoss.

Created by perfumer Clément Gavarry, the scent is designed to feel both comforting and fresh — a balance that mirrors the duality of movement and stillness.

The bottle reinterprets MCM’s signature backpack design, rendered in radiant white and wrapped in black Visetos, with champagne gold accents. It stands as a symbol of elevation and motion — an object that reflects the spirit of the MCM woman, always evolving, always in motion.

The campaign, themed “The Scent of Motion,” extends this narrative through a cinematic vision of cosmic light and fluid energy. Set against dreamlike twilight tones and shifting landscapes, it follows a modern woman moving through a world where boundaries dissolve into colour and movement — an invitation to move freely, boldly and without limits.

Cosmic Star Eau de Parfum will be available from May 2026 in MCM boutiques, online and at selected retailers.
