MM6 MAISON MARGIELA X SALOMON

For Spring-Summer 2026, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon extend their ongoing collaboration, revisiting the XT-MM6, CROSS DUST, and XT-15 Backpack. Rooted in an exploration of hybridization and the blending of worlds, the capsule operates at the intersection of performance and fashion, bringing together Salomon’s technical heritage and MM6’s distinct, conceptual perspective. Function is rearticulated through form.

Within this framework, the XT-MM6 is introduced in three new colorways, where outdoor and urban sensibilities converge: a sport-inflected ’80s-inspired pale lime yellow, a softened palette of cool grays with muted yellow accents, and a sleek, dark city iteration. Grounded in Salomon’s trail-running heritage and set on the Speedcross sole, the design maintains its precision and traction.

The new CROSS DUST builds on the Cross silhouette, a defining element of Salomon’s trail-running repertoire. Its construction integrates a technical gaiter, rooted in performance and reinterpreted through a conceptual lens. Drawing on the shared logic of protection, it references both the MM6 dust bag and Salomon gaiters. Different contexts, same function, brought into a single form. Encasing the foot while remaining light and adaptable, it balances protection with mobility.

Elsewhere, the XT-15 Backpack is updated with improved comfort, refined ergonomics, and functional detailing. A contrasting white rain cover with black logo completes the design. Across the collection, MM6’s design approach intersects with Salomon’s technical expertise, forming a modular system of footwear and accessories designed for everyday movement. Materials, volumes, and surfaces are reconsidered through subtle distortion and functional adaptation, resulting in pieces that perform fluidly across environments.

The MM6 × Salomon Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be available from April 29, 2026, via MM6 and Salomon e-commerce platforms, the brands’ boutiques, and select multibrand retailers.
